We will be moving up to the Damariscotta area very soon, and are planning on continuing to attend services at the Baptist Church. Thank you, Damariscotta Baptist, for making our Easter feel like we were “home”.
The church is just beautiful both inside and out. We were greeted by everyone there and felt a warm welcome presence. The message for the day was, of course, the Easter message…but it was presented in such a lovely manner by Rev. Glen Vaughn, that the “old story” became new again….and I personally saw the story in a different light. I truly felt the presence of God, and blessed that we had found that church service to attend.
Being “from away” and wanting to attending Easter service, we decided to try the Damariscotta Baptist Church since we knew the Methodist and Baptist churches had joined forces and were worshiping together (and we being devout Methodists).
So, this past Easter Sunday, we had the great pleasure of attending the Baptist Church.
